VISION TRIP TESTIMONY

Testimony of Meng Chin

I came to know about Santiphap Mission through Pastor Kim, who preached a sermon about it at Glory Church in 2023. The sermon was very inspiring and left a deep impression on me.

And in January 2025, I learned through a sister that there would be a vision trip led by Preacher Jael. And I decided to join after hearing more about it from her.

It was an 8-day, 7-night trip to northern Thailand. During the trip, we visited the four churches, two preaching stations, and attended a worship gathering at a sister's house .

Each of these places has its own unique story and challenges, which God has worked wonders in them - from the expansion of mission work in nearby villages and the miraculous turnout at services - to the moving testimonies of villagers coming to Christ and the hearts of those eager to serve Him. Witnessing these has opened my eyes and deeply moved me, reminding me of the profound impact faith can have on communities.

Some of the things that have stucked with me is seeing the brothers and sisters passionately sharing the Gospel - even in the midst of lack, they continued to serve the Lord faithfully. Worshipping together with them, I could truly sense God's presence among us - embracing us with His love.

Whether it was witnessing a church building under construction or simply joining worship held in someone's home, I could clearly see the hand of God at work. God uses those who are humble and willing to be used by Him. For those who are willing, God's will is surely accomplished. Seeing them serve with all their might, blessing many people, I was touched.

The brothers and sisters lovingly prepared local fruits and cooked meals for us with great care - I could genuinely feel their love. Because in God's family, we are one.

The pastors drove over more ten hours to the airport just to pick us up, and even served as our drivers during the trip. I honestly felt bad as God's shepherds serve us in this way And yet, they humbly served the Lord and others with such grace and devotion.

I saw the need to support the Santiphap ministry. Many local pastors are not serving full-time, as they have to work other jobs to sustain their livelihoods. Seminary students at the Santiphap School of Ministry (SSM) also need financial support, and there are many other areas in need as well.

Rather than saying we went to help and encouraging them, it is more accurate to say that I am the ones touched and blessed by them.

In addition to praying, I will ask God to show me how I can support them—whether financially or in other ways.

This vision trip with 11 of us was also a precious time of fellowship and building relationships—through shared meals and our visit to the coffee plantation. We also worshipped and shared our thoughts with one another during our journeys in the van.

The Lord arranged exactly what I needed and what was most suitable, for example, Sister Chun Yu was with us, and she had prepared many medicines which were put to good use.

I hope to have the opportunity to visit them again next year. Pray that I continue to place a burden on my heart for the Santiphap ministry.

Testimony of Herman

Herman in Action

My name is Herman Chang Yao Wah. I was born again on July 23, 2018, transformed by God's mercy, and since then, my calling has been to testify about Him.

I have served in various capacities: joining the church choir, receiving vocal training, sharing my testimony both in churches and online, and compiling I Asked God, a series of seven booklets addressing 103 commonly asked questions about Christianity, available in English and Chinese. I encourage you to explore them.

After completing this project, I sought God's purpose for my life. In October 2023, I met Rev. Kim, founder of Santiphap Mission Initiatives, whose focus on "making disciples" resonated deeply with me. I felt led to support this mission.

In March 2025, Jael invited me to join a Santiphap Vision Trip, which I eagerly accepted. We arrived in Bangkok in May and visited the Santiphap School of Ministry in Korat and a preaching station in Lopburi, which is becoming a full-fledged church. We then went to Khon Kaen to visit the Santiphap Mission Centre and attended the local church, before traveling to Chiang Rai to meet a member transformed by God's deliverance from a spirit medium.

The vision trip deeply moved me. Despite their material challenges, the people we met were filled with joy and peace, eager to serve God. I echoed the words: "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few."

There is much to be done through Santiphap. Upon my return, we began forming a tech team to use the internet to spread awareness, open hearts to God's work, and encourage support. This digital platform will facilitate learning about Santiphap, signing up for vision trips, and contributing to the mission.

If the Lord allows, I hope to partner in future church planting efforts across Thailand.

All for His purpose, by His power, and for His glory. Amen.

Wiang Lanna Church Building

Their Journey of Faith

Wiang Lanna Church is currently under construction, marking a significant milestone in their faith journey. The congregation had to leave their previous rental space due to an unreasonable rent increase by the landlord.

Through God's provision and the unwavering faith of the members, they purchased their own land. The church community has dedicated themselves to the construction of their building, working together with their own hands to create a place of worship.

This project represents more than just a building—it's a testament to their commitment to God and their determination to establish a permanent home for their growing congregation.
